Collagen constitutes 75% of human skin and is one of the major factors contributing to the plump, smooth appearance found in young healthy skin. At the age of 25, production of collagen decreases throughout the body but most significantly in the skin. As the skin ages, collagen degeneration combined with the reduced ability of the body to produce collagen, contributes to the formation of wrinkles and decreased skin elasticity. Decreased production of collagen results in the skin retaining less water, getting thinner and beginning to wrinkle.

Little by little, capillary tissues of the skin become thicker, which reduces the capacity of the skin to retain nutrients and water. The skin then presents a bigger risk of developing wrinkles, stretch marks and infections while its colour and pigmentation change, leading to brown spots.

Independent research has shown significant improvements in wrinkle reduction, skin moisture levels and plumpness, skin health and balance as well as improvements in T zone sebum levels and reduction of pore size, after regular supplementation with collagen.

Dosage

1. Take three capsules daily on an empty stomach before bedtime.

2. Rub Genacol® Instant onto the facial area after cleansing. Apply moisturiser to the skin directly thereafter. You may apply twice a day if required in the morning and night.
