I am a Biokineticist working with patients in a clinical rehabilitation practice in Mossel Bay. I have been trying to get back to road running (marathons) since I experienced a knee cartilage injury in 2000. I have not participated in marathons since the 2000 Comrades.

In 2001 I had a cartilage tear Arthroscopically removed in my left knee. Since then I was told by the Orthopaedic Surgeon that I will never be able to do long distance running again. In  June 2008 I started running again. My wife is a pharmacist and she recommended I use Glucosamine / Condroitin supplements, which I did. It helped but did not really sort out my problem for I still experienced knee pain.

My wife then heard about Genacol® and your rep gave her a free sample that she gave to me to use. I started using it in in October 2008, and initially was very skeptical, but  after the first month I  definately felt less pain, and I bought another lot.

I was for the first time in 8 years able to increase my mileage without experiencing knee pain. I completed my first Marathon in 8 years, November 2008. I used Genacol® throughout my training. I managed to do another 4 marathons in 2009, Two Oceans 2009 (bronze medal time) and I successfully completed Comrades on the 25th of May 2009 also in bronze medal time. Since I started to use Genacol® in Oct. 2008, I have progressively felt less pain and even with the grueling down Comrades I have had no knee pain at all.

Although my preparation included lots of weight and strength training I am convinced that Genacol® made the difference. I spoke to one of our local Orthopaedic Surgeons that I know well both on a personal and professional level. Dr. Dan Potgieter is also a patient that I regularly see for rehabilitation of his knees and shoulder. He experiences symptoms of early onset Osteoarthritis. We spoke about Genacol® and he was very interested for he attended a conference in Germany earlier this year where the latest research on collagen injections into specifically the knee joint was a very hot topic. He thinks that collagen supplementation is the future in treatment as well as prevention of OA.

Since I have had such good results with Genacol® I have prescribed it to several of my patients and all of them have shown great improvements, better than they have had with anything else. Genacol® is much safer than long-term Cox II anti-inflammatories and I personally think it works better.

Dr. Potgieter is also prescribing Genacol® to his patients now, since he started using it himself.

I had been living with the Symptoms of Fibromyalgia for about 20 months, without ever knowing what it was, or that I even had. I had constant muscular pains and joint aches throughout my body. I didn't have 1 peaceful or refreshing nights sleep during all this time and subsequently lived in a cycle of being tired, agitated and sore. After being diagnosed by a Doctor, I was put onto a very mild anti-depressant, that was supposed to make me sleep better (as sleep recovery is essential for allowing your body to recover and rejuvenate itself). I was on the prescription for about 2 weeks, which did help with my sleep but actually seemed to make me feel depressed. I still also suffered from pains and aches and decided to stop the medication as it was making me feel worse rather than better. A friend then recommended that I start using Genacol®, which I did and have been using for the past 3 months. After about 3 days of use, it seemed to kick in, and I started sleeping all the way through the night, waking up only in the morning and feeling like I had slept a full 8 hours. The pains and aches also completely left me and I forgot that I had ever had Fibromyalgia. I subsequently stopped taking Genacol® for about 2 weeks, and the pains came back, along with not being able to sleep. So I learnt my lesson, and have been taking Genacol® religiously since, and have felt the relieved normality come back to my body and my life.

Wow, what a difference a week makes!

My ankle fracture has almost completely healed.

Last Friday I could barely put pressure on my ankle and now I am able to stand up without crutches or the ankle guard. I can also walk a little with my crutches.

The swelling has completely gone as well as 90% of the bruising. I am so amazed by this product - it has definitely speed up the healing process and helped with the mobility of my ankle.

I am also drinking a lot of water as the tablets seem to absorb all liquid in my body.

I am seeing my physio early this week and I am hoping that by the end of this coming week, I will be able to walk without my crutches and ankle guard.

I am also very impressed by the fact that this product is all natural. I am not a fan of medication and believe that natural remedies do in fact work. This is proof for me.

I'm pleased to tell you that my wife Marjorie definitely feels that the Genacol® program is good for her. She was recently advised to undergo knee replacement surgery, having almost no cartilage left. We have no Medicare plan and, as you know, the cost of knee replacements is pretty high. We saw your ad in a national magazine and decided to contact you.

Marjorie has been taken Genacol® for over a month. She used to complain constantly about feeling tired and lacking energy. Now, she feels that Genacol® is doing the trick: she walks better and uses her crutch less and less. Let's see what happens later on, but it's already a major improvement. I am a fit, healthy, young-at-heart 54-year old female however for the past couple of years I've had nagging pains in my knee, foot and hip - and the pain and discomfort got steadily worse.
